I'm an award-winning social worker committed to transforming mental health care for K-12 students. I'm also the pioneer of neuro-trauma-informed social work - a branch of study that builds awareness of the neurobiological effects of trauma on the brain across the lifespan.
My work involves creating neuro-trauma-informed learning environments for schools and youth-serving organizations. Since 2019, I've reached over 1000 students, social workers, and educators with educational content designed to improve mental health outcomes for K-12 students.
My certifications include Neurobiology for Mental Health Professionals ('20), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ('18), and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention ('16).
I'm also a graduate of New York University ('18, MSW), Columbia University ('15, MA), and SUNY Purchase ('02). I'm currently completing my MSc in Applied Neuroscience at King's College London.
