I'm an award-winning social worker committed to transforming mental health care for K-12 students. I'm also the pioneer of neuro-trauma-informed social work - a branch of study that builds awareness of the neurobiological effects of trauma on the brain across the lifespan.
My work involves creating neuro-trauma-informed learning environments for schools and youth-serving organizations. Since 2019, I've reached over 1000 students, social workers, and educators with educational content designed to improve mental health outcomes for K-12 students.
My certifications include Neurobiology for Mental Health Professionals, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
I'm also a graduate of New York University (MSW), Columbia University (MA), and SUNY Purchase (BA). I'm currently completing my MSc in Applied Neuroscience at King's College London.
